After a last-minute win against Celta Vigo in their last league game and a 1-1 draw against Napoli in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16, FC Barcelona are now set to host Getafe in their upcoming La Liga encounter.

Although the team’s results have been far from ideal, Xavi, as he mentioned after the game against Napoli, was satisfied with how his team played, and is unlikely to make a lot of changes for this upcoming game. This is clear from the squad for this game, which has been released by FC Barcelona.

Still, with players like Joao Felix and Raphinha getting more sharper after their returns from injury, Xavi can decide to give them a more prominent role on the pitch to bring more variety to his attack.

On the other hand, some players like Marcos Alonso, Ferran Torres, Gavi, and Alejandro Balde still remain unavailable due to their injuries, so Xavi will have to look to get a result without these players in this match.

To compensate for these losses, Xavi will be able to count on some youngsters from the quarry, as has been the case throughout this season, with Pau Cubarsi, Hector Fort, Marc Guiu, etc. all being named in the squad announced by Barcelona for this match.
