Tomorrow’s encounter against FC Porto will be crucial for FC Barcelona. The Catalan giants have been far from their best and recent struggles have showcased that.

Vital losses and dropped points in both La Liga and the Champions League have made things difficult for Barcelona already this season.

However, La Blaugrana will need to enter this upcoming game against Porto with a new resolve. Failures are no longer an acceptable outcome for Barcelona. Xavi’s men will undoubtedly be aware of this and will need to accordingly increase both their intensity and tempo when facing off against their Portuguese opponents.

With almost a few hours left between now and kick-off, FC Barcelona have released the official squad list. A much anticipated one, given that the inclusion of German goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen was still uncertain.

Ultimately, the Barcelona captain is unable to make it in time for the squad. However, another captain, Sergi Roberto, does return to the final squad list for Porto.

Roberto’s return should provide Xavi with a new reliable asset to utilize as he wishes. At the end of the day, a victory is what Barcelona will be striving towards.

Youngsters like Marc Casado, captain of Barcelona Atletic, and Diego Kochen are also included in the final selection. The latter will be included as a third goalkeeper given the absence of Ter Stegen.
