After their 3-2 victory in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie against Paris Saint Germain, FC Barcelona will be looking to advance to the semi-final of the tournament by winning or even drawing the second leg scheduled for this Tuesday.

In between these two legs, the Blaugranes were able to keep their winning momentum, as they got a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Cadiz in La Liga, through an outrageous goal from Joao Felix.

These two victories keep Barcelona in contention for both the Champions League and La Liga titles. However, the outcome of the upcoming match against PSG will be crucial, as a win could see the Catalans reach the tournament’s semi-finals for the first time since the 2018-19 season, when they were eliminated in the infamous 4-3 defeat to Liverpool on aggregate.

Thus Xavi will be looking to go into this match with his strongest lineup, especially as he has recovered two key players in Frenkie de Jong and Pedri. However, the Barcelona head coach will not be able to count on the services of Sergi Roberto and Andreas Christensen for this match, as both of them are suspended.

FC Barcelona have announced the squad for this match, and in addition to these two suspended players, the injured duo of Alejandro Balde and Gavi are also absent from this list. However, there are several players from the youth teams included in the squad, including Marc Guiu, Hector Fort, and Marc Casado.
