After the recent clash against Mallorca, FC Barcelona will now turn their head towards a new opponent in Spain. The Catalans are set to welcome Sevilla to the Montjuic Stadium next for their upcoming La Liga EA Sports encounter.

The game against RCD Mallorca saw the Catalan giants take away nothing more than a point from a rather frustrating outing. However, Xavi’s men will now need to ensure that they can show up with the real Barcelona by the time Jose Luis Mendilibar’s Sevilla comes to visit.

With the match coming up just ahead, FC Barcelona have released the official squad list for their encounter against Sevilla on matchday eight of La Liga. For now, Xavi will have to rely on the same twenty stars that he had at his disposal in the game against Mallorca.

With Barcelona trailing behind both Girona and Real Madrid in La Liga as of right now, the Blaugranes will be quite motivated to not fall behind any further and ensure they can take away all three points at a stage where both Real Madrid and Girona will be facing each other in their upcoming clash in the league.

The final squad for Barcelona against Sevilla remains unchanged from the one that traveled to the Balearic Islands. Pedri and Frenkie De Jong simultaneously also remain excluded from the squad list as they continue their respective recoveries from injury and are some time away from coming back into the team as of right this moment.
