FC Barcelona return to action in La Liga tonight on Saturday with their match against another high-flying league side, CA Osasuna. Hansi Flick will be looking to continue his team’s winning run with this game, but there are two more reasons why he will be particularly looking forward to getting a win in this game.
As already reported, with a win at El Sadar he can match the best start to a league season in the history of the club. Furthermore, his Barcelona side can also become the first side in La Liga to beat Osasuna on their own home turf this season.
But getting a win in this match will not really be easy, as Flick is still without several of his important players, including Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, Fermin Lopez, Dani Olmo, and Marc Bernal.
To cover for the absence of senior players, Hansi Flick has called up several youngsters, including Andres Cuenca, Guille Fernandez, and Toni Fernandez, according to the official squad list. 18-year-old goalkeeper Aron Yaakobishvili has also been called up once again as the third-choice goalkeeper.
