FC Barcelona are going through a good sporting moment at the start of the 2024-25 season. The Catalans have won all of their three matches in La Liga up to now, and are looking to get another win against Real Valladolid in their upcoming matches to keep a perfect record ahead of the September international break.
For this match, Barcelona continue to miss some important players, including the likes of Frenkie de Jong, Gavi, Ronald Araujo, and Andreas Christensen. Ansu Fati is also still out of action but is expected to return to action after the international break.
Marc Bernal, who played the last match against Rayo Vallecano, will also be unavailable as he suffered an ACL tear in that game. However, the Blaugranas have received a boost with Eric Garcia returning from injury and being named in the squad for this match.
Similarly, Dani Olmo might also get his first start after making his debut in the second half against Rayo Vallecano.
