In what has been a rather turbulent window, FC Barcelona have had to multitask various priority operations simultaneously, having had to register current players, acquire new ones, and discard those considered to be surplus to requirements all at the same time.
At the same time, the Catalan giants have also had to keep a good eye on their economic situation to ensure they are working well within their limits in order to keep Financial Fairplay as connected as possible in all their proceedings.
In terms of player registrations, most of the squad had been registered by this point in time. A few cases were left unsolved out of which yet another one has been registered in the form of 28-year-old French defender Clement Lenglet, who Barcelona have managed to register in the records of La Liga.
Despite the registration having been completed now and showing up within the La Liga records, it does come as a bit of a surprise given that Lenglet was considered one of those players that Barcelona considered to be a priority in terms of sales this summer.
However, this could simply be a formality that Barcelona looks to navigate through just as they did with Sergino Dest, having him registered before offloading him on loan to Dutch side PSV in a bid to improve their Fair play standing.
The Catalan giants may be looking to repeat a similar ordeal with Lenglet, whose registration now leaves behind the likes of other Barcelona players such as Inaki Pena, Marcos Alonso, and Inigo Martinez as the primary stars left unregistered by Barcelona.
However, there has been no number assigned to Lenglet as of yet in his registered La Liga profile and it is still uncertain if his future even lies with the Catalan outfit given that FC Barcelona actively continue to look for a way out for the 28-year-old.
