FC Barcelona are set to take on Sevilla for their latest outing in La Liga this season. Back at the Montjuic Stadium, Hansi Flick’s team will be aiming for all three points to increase the distance from Real Madrid. However, given how problematic Sevilla can be, Barcelona will want to be cautious.

That is why, ahead of the game, the official starting eleven already shows the kind of setup that Hansi Flick is going for. Barcelona definitely want to win in front of their home fans and this is the kind of lineup that can guarantee that the Catalan giants will put up a fight.

In goal, as was already confirmed by the German tactician previously, is Inaki Pena as he retains his place as Marc-Andre Ter Stegen’s replacement. While Wojciech Szczesny will undoubtedly want to play as well, the Spaniard retains the faith of Hansi Flick for now.

Right in front of him, the reliable duo of Inigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsi remain as the starters for Barcelona. Their defensive chemistry and consistency has been a key factor behind Barça’s strength this season, and they will be hoping to maintain that consistency in this game.

On either flank, Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde are set to start as the right and left-back respectively. Their balance in terms of defensive and offensive skills has been working for Flick’s team so far and he will be hoping for more of the same from them in this game.

In the heart of the midfield, Marc Casado is paired up with Eric Garcia. Both Spaniards will be hoping to add some defensive quality to the team’s overall balance and will also be looking to add as much creative depth as possible to help out their forwards as well.

Right in front, Pedri starts as the central attacking midfielder and he is accompanied by Raphinha on one flank and Lamine Yamal on the other. All three of them will be hoping to link up play behind the centre forward and create as much chaos as possible.

Finally, Robert Lewandowski starts as the main centre forward to lead the Barcelona attack. He has been in fine form this season and the Polish ace will be hoping to add even more goals to his already impressive tally.
