FC Barcelona are set to lock horns with Míchel’s Girona at Spotify Camp Nou on the 28th matchday of their La Liga campaign with the aim of moving a step closer to the league title after Los Blancos’ recent stumble against Quique Setien’s Yellow Submarine.

Xavi’s cavalry in Garnet and Blue is going to partake in the Catalan Derby with the usual setup of 4-3-3. Ansu Fati who scored against Elche last weekend has been rewarded with another league start while Raphinha starts on the right flank with Robert Lewandowski occupying the central zone.

Gavi returns to the midfield after a switch in the system along with his tenacity and intensity to pair up with Sergi Roberto in the middle of the park while Busquets being deployed in his usual role of the defensive caretaker of La Blaugrana’s system.

With Christensen unavailable, Eric Garcia starts alongside Ronald Araujo in the center of defense while Jules Kounde returns to his customary role of safeguarding the right flank under the tutelage of Xavi Hernández. Alejandro Balde with his electric pace and tendency to cut through opposition defenses will fend off the left flank of the Barcelona defense against their Catalan rivals.

Official Line-Up:

Goalkeeper: Ter Stegen

Defenders: Balde, Eric, Araujo, Kounde

Midfielders: Gavi, Busquets, Roberto

Forwards: Fati, Lewandowski, Raphinha
