Official Starting Line-up of FC Barcelona against Tottenham Hotspur

FC Barcelona are set to kick off this year’s edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy clash against English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur at the Olympic Lluis Company Stadium in Barcelona.

With both sides ready to kick off the encounter soon enough, Barcelona have released their starting lineup for the match against their English opposition.

German goalkeeper and one of the four Barcelona captains, Marc Andre Ter Stegen starts in between the sticks as he looks to continue his fine form, having not conceded a single goal in his previous outing against Real Madrid and showcasing good performances overall. The goalkeeper will be hoping to ensure a clean sheet tonight as well against a motivated Spurs side.

In the defensive zone, the fullback positions are covered by Spanish youngster Alejandro Balde and Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo on the left and right flanks respectively.

The central zones of the defense are covered by Spanish defender Eric Garcia, alongside French partner Jules Kounde.

The midfield is comprised of the new arrival from Girona, Oriol Romeu, starting as the team’s primary pivot as he is accompanied by Dutch and Spanish midfielders Frenkie De Jong and Pedri on either side of him respectively.

The forward three consist of Spanish youngster and Golden Boy winner Gavi starting as the false winger out on the left side, while Raphinha starts on the right wing with Barcelona talisman Robert Lewandowski starting as the primary center forward for the team.
