Barcelona count the hours as they head towards El Clasico to battle it out with Real Madrid. The Catalan giants enter the game hoping to take away all three points, but so do Los Blancos. A match of great prestige and high stakes awaits both Spanish juggernauts at the Montjuic Stadium.
For Barcelona, the main concern ahead of the match remained their squad list. Now released, it holds all the secrets regarding which injured players are to return against Madrid. Moreover, just as a reliable report confirmed previously, three injured stars now return to the squad.
Barcelona receive a massive boost
According to the official Barcelona squad list and as per journalist Javi Miguel, Barcelona are set to welcome back three key players from injury in El Clasico. Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Jules Kounde have all received the medical green light and are in the squad.
However, the journalist did state that all three are set to start the match from the bench. This would mean that no last-minute changes to the starting eleven are expected. Despite that, the return of all three stars is a massive boost for Barcelona and Xavi Hernandez.

Both the frontline and the defense consequently receive key stars to add some impressive depth. Having the utility of being able to count on the likes of Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Kounde in the second half will be a game-changer for Barcelona. Their inclusion in the squad list is great news for La Blaugrana.
On the other hand, both Pedri and Frenkie De Jong will remain unavailable. Having participated in the recent group training session, there was hope that they could make it in time to feature at some point against Real Madrid. However, possibly because Xavi does not want to risk his stars for the long term, both players will continue their recovery.
