FC Barcelona is abuzz with frantic activity as the last few hours of the summer transfer window have arrived and the club’s business in the transfer market is not yet concluded. The club is still looking for two new additions and at least one more exit.

Two players, Ansu Fati and Clement Lenglet, have already left the club today. Another one is still trying to complete his move to Real Betis, i.e., Ez Abde. In addition to these exits, the club is also looking to complete the incoming moves for Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix.

Felix and Cancelo to undergo their medicals soon

As recently reported here, both players have already arrived in Barcelona to finalize their transfers. In fact, both these players are also residing in the same hotel, with their rooms having been reserved by Jorge Mendes, who represents both these players.

The latest update in their transfer operations has been provided by Gerard Romero, who claims that both Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo have already arrived at Ciutat Esportiva to undertake their medicals with FC Barcelona. This is usually the last step before the finalization of a transfer.

Race against time for Barcelona

If these medical tests go as planned, FC Barcelona will get extremely close to concluding the operations for these two players. These operations have been going on for some weeks now, and now look set to be complete.

However, time is of the essence, and the Catalan giants will have to work as quickly as possible in order to ensure that these moves are finalized in time. The inclusion of these players, especially of Cancelo, will significantly improve the squad quality and allow FC Barcelona to compete for the biggest prizes, including the Champions League, this season.
