There are only a few days left in the winter transfer window, but changes in the FC Barcelona squad before the end of this window can still not be ruled out.
One of the players that the Catalans are still looking to sign is the Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, who can arrive on loan to reinforce Flick’s forward line for the rest of the season.
But to get him, the Blaugranes will have to part ways with some of their current players, and for this purpose, a departure on loan for Ansu Fati is looking to be the most likely option.
However, he might not be the only player to leave in the remaining days of the market as SPORT reports that the Premier League side Bournemouth are interested in signing the midfielder Pablo Torre on loan with an option to buy.
The Spaniard has played only 373 minutes in total this season, but this scarcity of minutes has not kept him from making meaningful contributions with 4 goals and 3 assists. However, following the return of injured players like Gavi and Frenkie de Jong, minutes are even harder to come by for him going forward.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth would be an interesting option for the young midfielder, as they are proving to be one of the revelation teams in the Premier League this season, and can qualify for a European competition.
Andoni Iraola, in charge of the English team, was already interested in Torre while he was managing Rayo Vallecano, and still believes the youngster’s vision can prove to be highly useful in the Premier League.
Relations between the two clubs are already good, following the transfer of Julian Araujo last summer. For now, Torre wants to stay, but Barcelona are not ruling out a departure despite the limited time left in this window.
His contract with the Blaugrana club also ends in 2026, and although they value his skills, they have not started negotiations for a renewal because of the overbooking in the midfield.
