It’s natural for Neymar to desire this reunion, given that he has been unable to replicate the same form and performances at PSG that he had achieved during his time with Barcelona.
News linking Neymar with Barcelona has gained momentum in recent days, particularly following reports of a strained relationship between Neymar and PSG.
As previously mentioned, PSG recognizes that parting ways with the Brazilian would be beneficial for both the club and the player. They are consequently inclined to facilitate a move to the Catalan capital.
PSG is set to begin their Ligue 1 campaign on Saturday and, in preparation for this match, they recently conducted a training session.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the club released a medical report detailing the players who were absent from the training. The report noted that Neymar has successfully recovered from a viral syndrome but is currently undergoing gym training.
Therefore, Neymar isn’t entirely isolated from Luis Enrique’s squad like some other players who intend to leave PSG this summer. However, his chances of featuring in PSG’s opening league match are also slim, given that he didn’t participate in Friday’s training session for the game.
While another PSG player linked with Barcelona, Marco Verratti, trained with the club as usual, there were other players absent due to fitness concerns. Neymar stood out as the most notable player on this list, given the ongoing speculation about his potential move away from PSG and a return to Barcelona.
