It would appear that Barcelona will not have it easy when it comes to their transfer targets. The Catalan giants are always scouting the market for impressive youngsters that catch the eye. However, certain players undeniably manage to do so in a much more extraordinary way than others.
One such youngster hails from Brazil. Currently a player for Palmeiras, 16-year-old Estevao Willian has already become a global phenomenon. Nicknamed ‘Messinho’ after the great Barcelona legend Lionel Messi, his talent certainly speaks volumes about the player that the young Brazilian is.
A left-footed right winger, his profile as a player is quite similar to Messi’s. Adept at dribbling and winning his take-ons, Estevao is a special talent in his own right. Luckily for Barcelona, his dream has always been to dress up in Blaugrana colors one day.
However, this fairytale connection between Barça and Messinho could be interrupted by a certain club dressed in white. According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid has now joined the list of suitors for the talented young Brazilian.
Los Blancos are among the latest clubs to be attracted by the player’s astounding performances in the ongoing Under-17 FIFA World Cup. With three goals and four assists already under his belt, the player has had quite the impressive tournament thus far.
His upcoming encounter will be against Argentina in the quarter-finals. However, before that game even kicks off, it would appear that Messinho has done enough to garner the attention of several European heavyweights.
Despite Real Madrid only recently having inquired from Palmeiras about the player, other clubs like Barcelona, Manchester City, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea already have young ‘Messinho’ on their agenda for the future.
