The attack is one of the areas of their team that FC Barcelona are looking to reinforce going forward. In the last summer transfer window, the Blaugranes added Pau Victor and Dani Olmo to reinforce the attack but were unable to land their top transfer target, Nico Williams.

Next summer, the Catalans will look to land a winger once again, and they have already been linked with several players for this purpose, including Nico Williams and Rafael Leao.

Another interesting option that has been linked with Barcelona in the last few days has been the Napoli forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, whose future at the Italian club is full of uncertainty at the moment.

The €80m-rated Georgian winger’s current contract is expiring in 2027, and the Serie A side and the player were recently engaged in negotiations for a renewal.

However, these negotiations were far from smooth, as Kvaratskhelia’s agents believed that he was one of the most underpaid players in the squad, and wanted a significant improvement in his wages.

Napoli, meanwhile, were willing to increase his wages if the player increased his release clause to €130 million, which is something that the player’s advisors have advised him not to accept.

Owing to this difficult situation, SPORT reports that these negotiations have now been frozen by both sides. The Italian club will try to arrive at an agreement once again at the end of the season, but an agreement looks quite difficult at the moment.

Meanwhile, the player’s agents have once again opened contact with Barcelona, although there are some other clubs also interested in him, including Paris Saint Germain, who also wanted the winger last summer.

However, Barcelona have not taken any firm steps in this regard, as they are reluctant to open negotiations with a negotiator as tricky as Napoli President Aurelio de Laurentiis unless there is a maximum price set beforehand.

The Catalans will not pay €80 million to land him, and the Georgian will have to make a significant effort if he wants to join them. Let’s wait and see how this saga unfolds in the upcoming months.
