Although not as many as last season, FC Barcelona still have several players playing away from the club for this 2024-25 season. Doubtlessly, the good performances of the current squad under Hansi Flick are taking most of the attention of the club, but the Blaugranes are also keeping a close eye on these four players.

These four players include Vitor Roque, Alex Valle, Clement Lenglet, and Oriol Romeu. Bojan Krkic is the one in charge of keeping an eye on the development of these players, but for the fans, in a recent report, Mundo Deportivo has provided a brief update on how they are performing this season.

1: Vitor Roque

The Brazilian finally looks to have recovered his spirits after his loan move to Real Betis. Up to now, he has 8 appearances for the Verdiblancos, including 5 starts. He has scored 2 goals, and his importance is only growing in Manuel Pellegrini’s team.

2: Alex Valle

Valle is taking full advantage of the opportunity to play regularly at Celtic since the injury suffered by Greg Taylor. He has 7 appearances with Celtic, and has provided 3 assists in these games. He impressed a lot in one of his UCL games against Atalanta, and Barcelona are keeping a close eye on his development.

3: Clement Lenglet

The French defender had 8 substitute appearances with the Mattress Makers, and his best performance came in his starting debut against Real Sociedad. He played almost the full 90 minutes in that match, and Simeone rewarded this good performance with another start against Leganes.

However, he suffered a sprain in his left ankle after an accident with his own teammate Axel Witsel and is yet to return to the pitch.

4: Oriol Romeu

Romeu went on to be a starter as he made his return to Girona in the summer. However, his run of games was disturbed by the injury to the femoral biceps of his right leg, which has kept him out of action for a month now.

He is expected to spend another month in the infirmary, but is expected to get back to being an important player for Michel whenever he recovers.
