FC Barcelona continue to have some of the most talented youngsters in the world of football. La Masia is primarily the reason behind this, but Barcelona also have a strong network of scouts that tend to find really promising talents.

Noah Darvich, from Germany, was one of the latest such acquisitions. Currently, he is with the German National team participating in the Under-17 FIFA World Cup in Indonesia.

Moreover, Darvich has already helped his team reach the final of the competition, which will be played soon against France. In the process, he also helped Germany knock out a Barcelona-dominated Spanish side in the quarter-finals.

However, another player who has performed exceptionally well in the same tournament is soon to sign with Barcelona. Ibrahim Diarra, aged 16, is a player from Mali, and is reportedly set to join Barcelona in December of next year when he becomes of legal age.

During the tournament thus far, as highlighted by SPORT, he has been sensational. Leading the Under-17 Mali team to a third-placed finish just recently, he helped overcome Argentina’s promising side in their latest victory.

Scoring the opener for his side and then going on to assist the third goal, he helped Mali to a convincing 3-0 victory. Moreover, these numbers only add to his already impressive tally. With 5 goals and 4 assists, he has accumulated 9 goal contributions across the tournament.

A versatile player, capable of playing both as a winger and an interior, he is quite the mobile athlete. His creativity is matched by his ability to become dangerous in front of goal himself.

Upon his arrival, he will first serve with the subsidiary before a first-team decision can be made. For now, he will remain with his own club, Academie Africa Foot, in the first division of his own country.
