FC Barcelona has a massive pool of talent within their subsidiary that they can count on. These are players of immense talent and a great understanding of the Barcelona style of play. Their utilization in the first team, albeit irregular, is often appreciated by long-standing Barcelona fans.
However, to become a part of the first team, they first have to impress the head coach. With Xavi Hernandez at the helm, a man who also came through the La Masia academy, the youngsters have a huge personality to impress if they hope to leave their mark on the first team.
As such, according to details provided by Mundo Deportivo, several Barcelona youngsters attempted to do so just that recently. Given that several players are either with their national teams or injured, it was an ideal opportunity for the youngsters of the subsidiary to join up with the first team.
Marc Guiu, Pau Victor, Pau Cubarsi, Unai Hernandez, Guille Fernandez, and Aron Yaakobishvili were the six players involved in the recent training session. All six of these subsidiary players were called up by Xavi in light of the missing first-team players.

The presence of both Guiu and Victor was already understood, given that several first-team attackers are unavailable. Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal are all currently out injured. Other forwards such as Ferran Torres and Joao Felix are currently with their National teams.
Pau Cubarsi
Pau Cubarsi is an interesting introduction, one that has been made due to a recent injury. With Jules Kounde expected to be unavailable for at least a month due to an injury, Cubarsi has become the chosen one to take his place. A player of great quality himself, it will be interesting to see how Xavi utilizes him.
Guille Fernandez, a special talent
One of the names that will be quite exciting to keep an eye on, will be that of Guille Fernandez. 15 years of age and already a promising midfielder. He is already a player within the lower ranks of the Spanish National team, Interestingly, he is represented by Portuguese super agent, Jorge Mendes.
The same agent who also represents Ansu Fati, Lamine Yamal, and Alejandro Balde, well-renowned stars of La Masia.
With 10 players out with their national teams and 6 being injured, now was the ideal chance. The six youngsters are currently training under Xavi with the remainder of the first team members not called upon by their national teams. These players include Sergi Roberto, Marcos Alonso, Oriol Romeu, Inaki Pena, and Inigo Martinez.
