As the end of this summer transfer window approaches, FC Barcelona are reported to be focused on some outgoing operations. The Catalans are trying to find new clubs for three players in particular, Clement Lenglet, Mikayil Faye, and Vitor Roque.
The French defender has reportedly already reached an agreement to join Atletico Madrid, but Barcelona are yet to agree to terms of such a move with the Mattress Makers. Similarly, Mikayil Faye is already close to joining the French club Rennes.
Meanwhile, Vitor Roque is facing a highly uncertain future, as he wants to remain in Spain, but Barcelona are looking to minimize their losses on him and get a deal from which they can recuperate the maximum amount of investment they made on him last summer.
The journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the negotiations ongoing for the Brazilian striker. The Italian journalist claims that Sporting CP are currently advancing in the talks to sign Roque, and have discussed a package whose total value can reach up to €30 million. However, this sum will be reached with several add-ons.
Talks are currently underway between Barcelona and Sporting, but the same report claims that there are no ongoing negotiations between FC Porto and Barcelona. Porto were previously closely linked to Roque, and have also sold one of their strikers, Evanilson.
Meanwhile, the Catalans will be hoping that a deal can be reached for the Brazilian youngster as soon as possible, especially as there are not many days left before the window closes.
After having failed to impress his new coach, Hansi Flick, in the preseason, the player himself will be looking to end this future uncertainty as soon as possible and get back to playing at the level that he had shown in Brazil before making the move to Barcelona.
