The recent contest against Athletic Club has left Barcelona in a tight space when it comes to squad depth. Two of the team’s most prominent midfielders ended up having to be taken off due to injuries in that game. Consequently, Barcelona head on forward with a depleted squad.

However, football waits for no man and no team irrespective of their reality. Games in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League are fast approaching, and Barcelona need answers to curb their limitations. Like before, there is hope that the solutions to these limitations can come from the Barcelona quarry.
