Barcelona possesses one of the most talented batch of football players in the world. The squad currently playing under the Catalan club’s badge is almost enviable for most other teams. However, irrespective of quality or importance, many of the Barcelona players of today have had other suitors.

Teams from the English Premier League, German Bundesliga, and even the Italian Serie A are always on the lookout for top stars to acquire. As a result, it is not always a given that a player who plays for Barcelona today will likely do so tomorrow.

Moreover, given their economic predicament, Barça have been reportedly made aware of having to make unwanted sales in the future. Yet, despite the interest and their financial difficulties, Barcelona are rather adamant about the protection of a select few superstars.

According to SPORT, there are three Barcelona players that are considered to be absolutely untouchable. In the case of these three superstars, no kind of offer can convince Barcelona to part ways with them. The three stars in question are Pedri, Gavi, and Ronald Araujo.

All three of these superstars are considered to be ‘structural’ for the Catalan club. Basing new teams around them will be crucial for the team as a whole. Even as teams such as Bayern Munich come around to offer extreme values for the transfer of Araujo, Barça themselves remain undeterred.

Moreover, the club believes that these three represent the kind of talents Barcelona wishes to possess. At a point in time, the same was expected from the example of Carles Puyol, Xavi, and Andres Iniesta. Now, that legacy is carried forward and Barcelona hopes to ensure the quality control within the team.

However, this does not mean that the other key players are easily transferable either. SPORT made sure to highlight this and explains that only great offers for those other players could possibly convince Barcelona to entertain them, if anything.
