The Gunners are looking for more depth in this crucial area, and Araújo can be a luxury signing for them.
Lastly, Bayern Munich are also keeping a close eye on the €55m-rated Uruguayan, after having been strongly linked with him in the last few months as well. Vincent Kompany wants Araújo to partner with Kim Min Jae and Dayot Upamecano to turn his side into true favorites for the biggest titles.
