Within FC Barcelona, there is a great dilemma that seems to exist across the board. This specific dilemma revolves around the personnel in the squad, and their rather unjustified positions. As a consequence, Barcelona are hoping to find players who fit the roles they are assigned.

For instance, the left winger position is one where Barcelona believe they do not have the right type of player. They possess more central forwards such as Joao Felix and Ferran Torres, but they lack the unbalancing traits that made wingers like Ousmane Dembele so lethal when playing wide.

However, the club believes it is time to match the explosiveness on the left wing to that of the right-wing. While players like Lamine Yamal are working wonders on the latter, the left wing of Barcelona seems almost too one-dimensional at times. For this reason, they need the right solution.

As per Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have thus highlighted a few names to take over in that position. Two of those three names hail from the English Premier League, while one of them comes from the Italian Serie A, and will soon be meeting Barcelona as well.

Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton):

Aged 26, the Japanese forward is among the most exemplary dribbling talents in the footballing world. At his best, the Brighton forward is almost unstoppable and he possesses the ability to unsettle any and all defenses that take him on.

He remains contracted to Brighton until 2027. However, MD previously also reported that Barcelona believe his talents would fit the profile they want.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Napoli):

A player hailing from Georgia, the current Napoli forward was among Europe’s brightest last season. He is also a player capable of unsettling defenders, as well as providing both goals and assists. Aged 23, the Georgian is currently contracted to Napoli until 2027.

His agent did however publicly confirmed that he would love to play for sides like Barcelona or Real Madrid. Beyond Italy, it seems that Spain could be his destination if the right order of circumstances lines up.

Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal):

Aged just 22, the Brazilian winger is among the most explosive in the English Premier League. One of Arsenal’s most exciting attacking options, his creativity and ability to add to the side’s goals are almost limitless at his best.

However, as is the case with the other two options, he will not be cheap. Currently valued at €85 million by Transfermarkt, he also has a contract in place until 2027. To ensure any of the three names mentioned, Barça would need to have a sizeable transfer budget.
