It is expected to be a long summer up ahead for FC Barcelona, and the club knows it. La Blaugrana simply cannot make do with the squad they currently have, but they also need to pull some strings for new signings. Ultimately, Barcelona will definitely need to lose something to end up gaining something.

Whether that loss comes in the form of losing key players to other teams or any other manner altogether, Barcelona will have to give up on some of their major assets in one way or another. Finding an important source of revenue is key, and Barça have a few different options they wish to make use of.

That is what Barcelona president Joan Laporta has conveyed to the club members. According to the information provided by Catalan source Esport3, the club president has informed the members of the club in a recent meeting of the three operations that are currently being handled.

All three of these operations are integral in helping Barcelona return to the 1:1 rule and be able to make signings normally. The first of these operations that Barcelona is putting a lot of emphasis on is the sale of a percentage of Barça Vision for €40 million, and it is reportedly quite an advanced operation that is close to being wrapped up.

It is expected that this operation will be finalized in the coming days or weeks and the investor is already onboard as well. However, then comes the second operation, which just so happens to be directly linked to the first one in regards to Barça Vision.

Barcelona will look for a suitable investor, which could end up being Spotify, to purchase a part of Barça Studios for €60 million. The negotiations in terms of this particular operation are still underway and while things have not been finalized, reports suggest that good progress is being made.

The final operation as part of these three key deals is that of the new contract with Nike. Barcelona and the American sports brand have already reached an agreement over the majority of the financial compensation that Barcelona will receive by signing this agreement with Nike, and it is expected to be the most lucrative deal of its kind in the footballing world.

Moreover, hypothetical sales such as those of Mikayil Faye and Marc Guiu will also help Barcelona. The Catalan club is aware of their finances and their economic shortcomings, and every bit of revenue that comes their way will end up being helpful in one way or another.
