The abundance and quality of talented youngsters at FC Barcelona is barely matched by any other club, even from among the elites of Europe. Possessing several academy graduates of high caliber and even multiple Golden Boy winners within the squad, Barcelona is deemed to be well-adjusted for years to come.

According to the data collected by 433 via TransferMarket, FC Barcelona can claim to have three of the world’s five most valuable teenage sensations as part of the Blaugrana project moving forward. Two of them already ply their trade for the Catalan giants, while one is simply awaiting the green light to come over to Barcelona as well.

Pablo Gavi and Alejandro Balde occupy the first two positions within the rankings, while soon-to-arrive Brazilian starlet Vitor Roque comes in at number five. The other two players to occupy the top five are SL Benfica’s Antonio Silva (€45 million) and Atalanta’s Giorgio Scalvini (€40 million) in third and fourth place, respectively. Here is how the Barca players are valued:

Gavi (€90 million)

In first place on the list based on the valuations by Transfermarkt, it is no surprise to see 19-year-old Pablo Gavira topping the rankings. The Barcelona academy product is among the cherished few to have won both the Kopa Trophy as well as the Golden Boy Award.

Being the most valuable player in the world below the age of 20, Gavi already boasts a very impressive collection of achievements. Already having won the Golden Boy award and Kopa Trophy in 2022, the teenager also has a La Liga title and a Spanish Supercup title to his name with Barcelona, as well as a UEFA Nations League with the Spanish National team.

Alejandro Balde (€50 million)

In second place on the list, a particular Barcelona fullback ends up taking the spot. Alejandro Balde, yet another one of Barca’s very own from the La Masia academy, is among the most exciting young fullbacks in world football.

Possessing blitzing pace, great vision, and a much-improved understanding of the game, Balde is expected to become a world-beater with the potential that he has at his disposal, and Barcelona will be betting on the youngster for years to come, as he has just recently penned down an agreement to stay with Barca until 2028.

Vitor Roque (€35 million)

The gem from Brazil, Vitor Roque is an undeniably elite talent. Scoring for fun with Athletico Paranaense and with the younger groups of the Brazilian National team, Roque is seen as a national prodigy and a star of Brazil for years to come, and for good reason.

However, despite being the fifth entry on the list of the top five most valuable teenagers, Vitor Roque has recently had an unfortunate encounter. Injured in his latest appearance for his South American club, Vitor Roque is expected to remain on the sidelines for at least 8-10 weeks.

Originally, his arrival at FC Barcelona was expected in January following the purchase of the 18-year-old by the Catalan outfit in the summer window that has just passed. However, due to financial complications and now perhaps even his injury, Barcelona may face uncertainty in terms of when the Brazilian prodigy will finally don the Blaugrana colors.
