Vitor Roque arrived at FC Barcelona in the last winter transfer window with very high hopes. However, his time at the Catalan club has not exactly gone as planned, and he is currently facing a very uncertain future.
In fact, as the Blaugranes are looking to get rid of some of their players to lighten their squad and avoid registrations of players that will take up salary space without contributing too much to the team, Vitor Roque could be the next player to leave the club.
His agent, Andre Cury, is already in Europe, looking for a team, as Barcelona told the player last Friday that he will have to find a new team this summer. The Brazilian agent is looking to find a team from the Premier League for his client.
According to Mundo Deportivo, as of now, two English teams, Bournemouth and Everton, have asked Barcelona about the possibility of a loan or a permanent transfer of the young striker.
One of these teams, Everton, are already in negotiations with Barcelona for Roque and have already presented them with an offer of €25 million fixed and another €3 million in variables.
However, the Blaugranes paid a fixed amount of €30 million when they bought Roque from Athletico Paranaense last January, and are not willing to go below this amount when selling the Brazilian. Ideally, the Catalans are aiming to reach the figure of €35 million with his sale.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth, who have recently agreed a €10 million transfer for the Barcelona fullback Julian Araujo, are also pursuing the Brazilian winger.
Roque currently looks more out of the club than inside, especially as he has been unable to get a lot of playing minutes from Flick in the pre-season. The emergence of Pau Victor further decreases his importance in the team, and a move away from Barcelona seems to be the best-suited way forward for the striker.
