Loan deals have typically been very hit or miss when it comes to FC Barcelona. The Catalan giants have done relatively well when it comes to bringing in players on loan, but players sent out on them oftentimes do not see the desired progress. However, the latest Barcelona loanees seem to be having a much different experience.

Certainly, there are those players not doing quite so well. However, there are also those who are finding themselves to be much better players overall following their revelations on loan. Barcelona have even hired Bojan Krkic to keep an eye on their respective progressions this season.

As a result, SPORT has now taken a look at these various loanees. Some of these players are becoming greater financial assets for Barcelona, while others are gradually finding their best versions as players with hopes of claiming a place in Barça once they return.

Sergino Dest (PSV)

Having settled in quite well at PSV, Sergino Dest has been exploding in the Netherlands. His valuation has also increased, and is now already at €18 million. Having qualified for the Champions League Round of 16 with PSV, Dest is also a regular starter for the side in the Eredivisie.

Alex Valle (Levante)

The Spaniard is now a mainstay at Levante at their left-back position. His regularity and consistency, despite his side’s collective struggles, has greatly improved his level. He also reportedly has many interested suitors.

Eric Garcia (Girona)

Having previously arrived from Manchester City, Eric Garcia’s time at FC Barcelona was not too promising. However, his loan move to Girona has been an entirely different story. Now, he remains a crucial part of Michel’s La Liga-dominating super team and fits into all his various systems.

Julian Araujo (UD Las Palmas)

Julian Araujo is another fullback making the most of his loan move. Having established himself as a regular in Las Palmas, he has been one of the great performers for the side this season. He is yet to have his chance at FC Barcelona, but he is already making a great name for himself away from his parent club.

Chadi Riad (Real Betis)

Riad is another one of the Barcelona loanees who has now become a great addition to his current team. Real Betis continues to count on him, and he already generates 1254 minutes across 15 games. Many of his unique traits have allowed him to stand out, and he continues to chase becoming undisputed.

Ansu Fati (Brighton)

After suffering an unfortunate injury at Brighton, Ansu Fati is now set to be on the sidelines for some time, at least until February. Prior to that injury, however, the Spaniard was once again finding his feet.

Making appearances regularly for De Zerbi’s Brighton, he was regaining his form as a goalscorer. Barcelona hope for him to make a comeback, as injuries have already plagued his career enough.

Pablo Torre (Girona)

Unlike Eric Garcia, Pablo Torre has not exactly been enjoying life at Girona. Hardly a regular, he has not been trusted enough by Michel this season.

The Spanish coach already has a strong system with the right player profiles, and Torre just does not seem to fit. However, there is still half a season to give Michel a reason to count on him.

Clement Lenglet (Aston Villa)

The Frenchman continues to attract interest from outside of both England and Spain. However, his current spell with Aston Villa has been shaky, to say the least. Up until recently, there was no sign from Unai Emery that he counted on Lenglet’s services. Thus far, he has 540 minutes accumulated in six games.
