“I think the goal is similar to the Galatasaray match.”

Pedri on clinching to 2nd spot in the league table:

“I am happy with the win and the second place. Three months ago we were struggling and now we are in second place and we have improved in several areas.”

Pedri on support from the fans:

“I think since I arrived here I have been received very well and I feel loved by the fans. For me, Barca fans are the BEST in the world.”

Pedri on the win against Sevilla:

“An important victory because Sevilla is a strong opponent and it was a difficult match.”

Pedri on La Liga title race:

“We know the league is very difficult, but Barcelona must struggle to always be crowned and be in the first place, so let’s see how things go.”

Xavi on defeating Sevilla:

“Sevilla played an excellent match. We are talking about a great team with an excellent coach. We faced difficulties in the first half. Sevilla doesn’t concede goals easily.”

Xavi on Pedri:

“I’ve said it many times, Pedri is a very important player who can make the difference by passing and creating chances. He played a perfect match like the team, and I’m satisfied with the performance. Pedri is a player who should finish the season with several goals. Today he scored an amazing goal, I don’t have many words to describe the goal. It is amazing to see him play.”

Xavi on La Liga title race:

“Our chance at La Liga? The main goal is to qualify for the Champions League. We are now in second place and still in the fight for the league title.”
