Xavi aspires to lead Barcelona into their future home

FC Barcelona is a club with massive ambitions, and these ambitions must be shared by the many members of the club in order to fully grasp and achieve the objectives set out by them as a collective group.

The recent renewal until 2025 of Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez was a clear indication that the club’s board had full faith in the abilities of Xavi to lead the team towards glory and complete the objectives that the club expects him and his team to complete this season.

Following his renewal, as brought to light by Mundo Deportivo, Xavi talked about several things going forward including his ambitions and desire to continue as manager of Barcelona and achieve great things with his team.

Talking about how he hopes to continue as Barcelona head coach, the Catalan manager stated that he wanted to remain the coach when this Barcelona side returns to the new Camp Nou stadium currently under construction while the Blaugranes play their football at the Montjuic Stadium:

“I want to debut at Camp Nou as a coach. Hopefully, this will mean that things are going well. It would be very special for me to debut at Camp Nou as a coach, and also for the president and many players. It’s a beautiful goal for all of us as Barça fans, and I hope the timing and circumstances allow it.”

He also took the time to address fans of La Blaugrana and make a promise to them that he and his team will work at their highest level possible to ensure that they can have no complaints about their devotion to FC Barcelona:

“Thank you very much for the support; I have felt it since the first day I became the coach, and I hope you continue to support us until the last day. We will give our all to make things work, so thank you very much, a hug to everyone, and Visca el Barça.”

Among the many other topics discussed, Xavi was also asked to highlight the objectives for his Barcelona side this season and he made sure to let the fans know that he and his team would be working towards striving in every competition that they are participating in:

“We’ll see how far we can go; I believe we have built a very good and competitive squad to fight for them.”
