Xavi has called up Barcelona youngsters training with the first team ahead of the game against Elche

Xavi continues to provide inexperienced youth with opportunities to learn

FC Barcelona have always been more than a club that simply buys the best players and expects to win, it is a club with certain fundamentals. Trusting their youth has always been a massive priority and foundation of the Blaugrana, and as things stand today, it remains no different under the tutelage of Xavi Hernández.

While the likes of Gavi, Pedri, Ronald Araujo, and Alejandro Balde become more and more accustomed to the realms of European mastery, the new blood that emerges has its own worth to prove. The revitalized winger Estanis Pedrola alongside the likes of midfielder Aleix Garrido, defensive midfielder Marc Casado and youth goalkeeper Aron Yaakobishvili are just some of these new emergences.

All four of these players have gotten the chance to train with the available first-team members who did not travel with their respective national teams for the ongoing International break as per the reports from Mundo Deportivo. With an eye on the fast-approaching La Liga Santander clash against Elche, Xavi continues to give the inexperienced youth an opportunity to learn from some of the very best around.

The players learn invaluable lessons from such experiences and will undoubtedly be given more chances to collaborate with the first team, perhaps even call-ups to certain games such as the likes of Angel Alarcon have been granted.

Due to the massive number of absences from within the first team, courtesy of the international break, Xavi Hernandez thought of it as a good chance to submerge those from the subsidiary youth portions of the club to learn and get accustomed to the first team.

The likes of Robert Lewandowski, Jules Kounde, Franck Kessie, Gavi, Alejandro Balde, Ter Stegen, and Andreas Christensen were all away for their international games and now as they return from the international break, Xavi will again be able to call upon their services, bar the Danish defender who got injured during said international break.

The ability to call upon the youth in such scenarios is a major blessing quite unique to a degree to FC Barcelona, who possess a plethora of talented youngsters still yet to be unearthed and unveiled to the rest of the European footballing landscape.
