Xavi spoke about Endrick, Luis Enrique, the performances of Barca players in the World Cup so far, and the Spanish National team in his recent interview.
Xavi on signing Endrick:
“We have been talking with Endrick and his father. I explained the project at Barcelona. We want talented players, and he is a talent, capable of making difference. Endrick is the kind of player we need. I hope he joins Barcelona. It’s up to him to decide”.
Xavi on the best players he ever played with:
“The best three players I have ever played with are Messi, Iniesta, and Busquets and Messi is the best player of all time. I would have loved to play with Zinedine Zidane. It would have been a pleasure.”
Xavi on Luis Enrique:
“I believe a lot in the Spanish national team and Luis Enrique as a manager.”
Xavi on the role of Eric Garcia and Ansu Fati in the World Cup:
“Luis Enrique already said in the press conference that there would be changes. I’m sure there will be minutes for everyone. Eric and Ansu are going to be important, Luis trusts them a lot.”
“I liked France and Brazil, but Spain have shown superiority we haven’t seen from anyone else so far in the World Cup. They played with intensity and circulated the ball well against Costa Rica.”
Xavi on the performances of Barcelona players in the WC so far:
“The rest of Barcelona’s players have already shown their level in the first match. Spain have high-quality young players who are very prepared.”
