With only a few days left in this summer transfer window, FC Barcelona are still linked with a number of players. In fact, their transfer activities can go down till the last day of the transfer window.

Currently, the club is looking for a right-back and an attacking midfielder. For the right-back position, Joao Cancelo is currently the closest associated player with the Catalan club, while Foyth is also in contention.

On the other hand, Bernardo Silva is the favorite of the club for the attacking midfielder position and Giovani Lo Celso is the alternative if the Portuguese does not come.

In recent weeks, another Portuguese forward, Joao Felix, has also been strongly linked with the club, with his agent, Jorge Mendes, particularly pushing for his client’s move to Barcelona.

However, Spanish journalist Javi Miguel claims that Xavi would accept the arrival of Joao Felix only after the other two of his priorities are signed by the club.

Thus, the club has let Felix and his entourage know that an operation for him can only be completed by the last day of the transfer market.

Barcelona are extremely close to finalizing the signing of Joao Cancelo, after the club having been linked with him for almost the entirety of his summer transfer window. The player himself is willing to take a stand for a move to Barcelona, and will rule out a move to other clubs to help facilitate this operation.

However, the singing of Bernardo Silva is looking much more difficult this summer, and Lo Celso might be the attacking midfielder who ends up joining Barcelona this summer.

Lo Celso spent the last two seasons on loan at Villareal, and Tottenham do not have him in their plans for the next season as well.

Thus, Barcelona may end up reinforcing these two priority positions, but Felix’s future is more uncertain as there are only a few weeks left before the transfer window closes, and he will have to wait till the conclusion of operations for these players before movement can begin for his own transfer.
