FC Barcelona is home to some of the most elite footballing talents in world football. The Catalan giants are thus often met with the interest of other top European sides when it comes to inquiring about the availability of their players and what exactly it would take to potentially get a deal over the line.

Two talents that FC Barcelona has decided to consider as surplus to current requirements are 20-year-old Ansu Fati and 21-year-old Ez Abde, both of whom were originally reported to be well-settled within the Barca squad and had the club’s backing as well as their own intent to stay and succeed in Blaugrana colors.

However, recent days have changed this stance for all parties involved. Believing that there are no guarantees to afford them minutes, Barcelona believes a loan move would be best suited for their respective development.

According to Spanish outlet SPORT, Premier League outfit Liverpool has joined the clubs interested in Abde and Fati, having recently made an inquiry regarding the availability of both.

The report suggests that Liverpool are invested in finding an alternative option for their star forward, Mohamed Salah, in the scenario that he ends up leaving in the near future given his already advanced age of 31 as well as recent reports linking him to Saudi Arabia.

In the case of Ansu Fati, in particular, Liverpool are not the first Premier League side to be interested in the 20-year-old. Recent reports have revealed interest from two London-based clubs, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, as they wish to remain updated regarding the situation of the Barcelona forward as well.

French defender Clement Lenglet also remains among those players Barcelona continues to work towards parting ways with. His operation is arguably the most advanced as clubs such as Aston Villa have also shown prominent interest in the Barcelona defender.
