FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid will face off this Sunday on matchday 15 in La Liga in the most high-profile match. The build-up for this match has been highly interesting, and a lot of focus of comments from both sides before the match has been on Joao Felix, who joined Barcelona last summer on loan from Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid players, like Antoine Griezmann, have sounded quite confident about their chances against Barcelona ahead of the match. Now, as SPORT has reported, another Atletico Madrid player is quite confident that his team will win the match against Barcelona convincingly.

This player is Rodrigo Riquelme, who moved to Atletico Madrid last summer after a highly impressive season at Girona. He is getting a lot of minutes from Diego Simeone and is also putting in the performances to justify the trust the Argentine coach is putting in him.

This Sunday, he will face Barcelona for the first time in his career in Atletico Madrid colors. The player appeared in a program on Cadena Ser, in which he predicted how the match would go.

The player claimed that the match would finish with a 2-0 scoreline in favor of the Mattress Makers. He predicted Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata to be the scorers of these two goals and went on to name himself as the creator of one of these goals.

Thus, Riquelme sounds highly confident ahead of the match, but it remains to be seen how he and his team perform on the night. There is no doubt Atletico are in fine form in La Liga, as they have got ten wins, two losses, and a draw in thirteen matches up to now.

Both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid stand with 31 points, but the Madrid side have played one match less than the Catalans. As both these teams are aspiring for the league title, this match will have a lot of significance for both Xavi and Simeone.
