Barca News Network brings you today’s latest Barca News round-up including an update on Yousouffa Moukoko’s future, Bellerin’s low salary, Mateu Lahoz’s exclusion from the panel of referees, and Barcelona’s interest in a promising right back.

Chelsea leading the race for Barcelona target:

Borussia Dortmund’s Yousouffa Moukoko is having a stellar season, which has caught the sight of a number of Europe’s leading clubs. FC Barcelona has also been reportedly interested in the young forward, but Chelsea is now being considered to be the favorites to sign the young striker.

Barcelona defender reveals his surprisingly low salary:

Hector Bellerin, has had a long association with Barcelona as he rose up in La Masia before making a name for himself in the Premier League. He returned to his boyhood club this last summer, despite it being clear that Barcelona would not be able to pay him as much as the current market demands.

However, he still joined La Blaugrana for an extremely low salary, which he now has revealed to be ranging around €500k for this year.

Barcelona facing competition for another Right-Back target:

FC Barcelona have now long been looking for a dependable right-back player, as this position remains a weak link for the team. This quest has brought their attention to one of La Liga’s promising talents in Ivan Fresneda, who currently plays for Real Valladolid, and has a release clause of €30 million.

However, the fact that both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are also scouting him means Barcelona would not find it easy to attract the youngster to Catalonia.

President Joan Laporta praises Dembele:

In his recent interview, club president Joan Laporta praised Dembele and declared him an important player of the team which is not for sale amid recent rumors regarding PSG’s interest in signing the French winger to replace Neymar.

Referee Mateu Lahoz has been omitted from the list of Referees:

Spanish Referee Mateu Lahoz’s name has not been included in the list of referees who will officiate this weekend’s La Liga games following his recent controversial decisions in the game between Sevilla and Cilta Vigo.
