Match Overview:

The preseason is in full swing as Barcelona continues their tour in the United States, and the next destination is the infamous Las Vegas. To the sumptuous, entertaining atmosphere of the Nevada-based town, nothing suits better than the battle of the prestigious, eternal rivalry between the Spanish giants, Real Madrid, and Fc Barcelona.

Despite the game will have nothing to compete for, an El Clásico can hardly be labeled as a ‘friendly’ encounter. Today, Sin City will witness a true footballing festival, which is a fierce duel at the same time, where nothing will be left to gamble.

Coming from a devastating victory on the sunny coast of Florida, Barcelona is heading into this battle swelling from confidence. The 6-0 triumph over hosts Inter Miami has shown the power that resides in the team, an immense potential that can lead them to great heights.

The new reinforcements, particularly Raphinha and Kessié, managed to impress, adapting swiftly and smoothly into Xavi’s system. The Ivorian beast has shown its huge capacity to cover ground, constantly threatening with his movement up front, while also ensuring that physical presence expected from him.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian attacker stole the show with his goal and brace of assists in his Blaugrana debut. The former Leeds man has shown great understanding of the playing system, always combining and creating with his fellow teammates in the final third.

Another interesting talking point is the pivot position. Sergio Busquets is available for selection, but the young Nico González has also shown promising signs when replacing the veteran star. His reading of the play, impeccable passing ability, and positional awareness improved significantly compared to last season, and now, he seems to be a competent option to follow in Busquets’s track.

But the one everybody is talking about, the superstar who finally arrived, after a dirty transfer saga with Bayern München, the one, and only Robert Lewandowski. The Polish predator is ready to make his debut for the Garnet and Blue outfit. And what a debut it can be! Hopefully, first of many, filled with goals and glory.

On the other side, Madrid will miss their biggest jewel, Karim Benzema, who was given extra time to rest and recover himself ahead of the competitive part of the calendar. So, the first head-to-head battle in the much-anticipated rivalry between the two super strikers will be delayed, but still, Los Blancos did not skimp on their roster to show off in the capital of entertainment.

With the new arrivals of the summer, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Antonio Rüdiger, Carlo Ancelotti has a strong squad at his disposal. These additions provide depth and flexibility to the team with plenty of stars like Modrić, Kroos, and Vinícius, and will surely help them to keep the Royal Guard on the path to success.

All in all, an ever-entertaining contest’s next round is expected to take place in front of us, and a tight, fierce battle will decide the fate of the game. This is a match where both teams have the quality and potential to prevail, and both are able to snatch the victory. But who will win? Let’s find out soon.
