Barcelona announce squad for Spanish Super Cup

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernández has called up 24 players for Spanish Super Cup. The squad will fly to Saudi Arabia today at 12:30 PM Central European Time.

Xavi Hernández has his entire squad available at his disposal as Jordi Alba and Robert Lewandowski are available for selection after missing the previous game against Atletico Madrid. Jordi Alba served the 1-match ban ( Only applicable for the League matches ) after receiving two yellow cards in the match against Espanyol while Lewandowski is still suspended for two more league games following the decision from TAD.

However, the Polish number 9 is available for selection as the suspension is applicable in league games only. Barcelona are set to face Real Betis on the 12th of January in the 2nd semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup at King Fahd Stadium.
