The great aspiration of Barcelona still remains to find their best version again that they have seen before. La Blaugrana have already witnessed their glory days, and their hopes are to rekindle them. However, for that to happen, Barcelona will need to sort out their team first.

Over in that front, however, there lies an abundance of problems to overcome. Beyond just the managerial conundrum, Barcelona also need to revamp the squad in order to create a team that is much more competitive and effective than the current squad representing the Catalan giants.

However, the changes that are required will have to be precise. Yet, one solution to all their problems is still possible, and it is one without too much risk as well.

Given their financial limitations, and the fact that Barcelona will need to invest in certain positions with substantial amounts of finances to improve them, the idea of a budget-friendly solution does not sound bad at all.

Moreover, in the event that this particular solution lives up to its potential, it could be wondrous for Barcelona. As highlighted by SPORT, the dream duo of Lamine Yamal and Ansu Fati could still be realized at Barcelona. The current gem of La Masia could soon be reunited with his predecessor in the summer.

At the moment, Fati remains at Brighton, and his resurgence is applaudable. Despite an injury having put an untimely pause to his season, he is now back and gradually regaining momentum.

Under Roberto De Zerbi’s guidance, the Spaniard has found a new ceiling even when deployed as a center forward or a shadow striker behind him.

Yet, there is still a spark that Fati needs to unlock. Back when he originally debuted at the age of 16, Fati was an explosive winger with the ability to paralyze defenses and be lethal in front of goal.

His own version of being able to dismantle defenses was crucial for Barça, and there was an unsaid realization that the teenager was a sensational talent.

Now, his successor, Lamine Yamal, is carrying on those wondrous displays. Whereas Fati was a lethal weapon in front of goal with flashy runs and moments, Yamal is a much more composed and tricky player.

His dribbling is almost unparalleled, and his vision to almost always make the right decision or pass makes him an exceptional talent in his own right.

With these two attacking prodigies of La Masia, Barcelona hopes to build a new frontline for the years to come. Fati, a Barcelona debutant at age 16, and Yamal, who did the same aged 15, are a duo that Barcelona dreams of reuniting. While both have been with the first team at the same time on certain occasions, they are yet to truly form an understanding.

Yet, with Fati most probably returning in the summer, he could also be helped by Xavi’s departure. With current coach Roberto De Zerbi possibly one of the candidates to replace Xavi, Fati could once again regain prominence within Barcelona.
