Frank Kessie arrived at FC Barcelona on a free transfer at the start of the season. While his time at the Catalan club has not been optimal, his performances in recent matches have gone on to showcase his utility for the squad.

Frank Kessie had a memorable match against Real Madrid, as he played an essential role in the first goal, which was given as an own goal, and almost had a second, which was mistakenly deflected by his teammate Ansu Fati. This performance built on the other impressive performances that the Ivorian had in the recent stretch of matches.

In addition to Xavi, these performances have also caught the attention of other European clubs interested in Kessie’s services. Tottenham is one such club, where Antonio Conte, who knows Kessie from his time in Italy, is highly interested in the midfielder. Similarly, Inter Milan are also interested in the player as per recent reports from SPORT.

One of Inter Milan’s key players, Hakan Calhanoglu, recently spoke to the media about his former teammate at AC Milan. Calhanoglu described Kessie as his friend and one of the best players he has played with. He spoke highly of Kessie and claimed that Kessie would be welcome at Inter Milan, as any of the top footballers would be.

He also disclosed that he is in contact with Kessie and that while he is currently in a contract with FC Barcelona, Inter Milan are an equally strong club, and Kessie should consider the possibility of a move to San Siro.

Kessie’s contract with Barcelona runs until 2026. Although the club can consider his sale if an offer comes in, that offer needs to be significant enough to convince Barcelona to part with this asset. However, Inter Milan is currently struggling with their finances and will have to make sales to get the funds required to acquire the services of Franck Kessie.
