FC Barcelona is a club that has always valued a style of football played with brilliance. It is not just about winning at the Catalan club, but also about how the team wins. Many of the greatest minds to bless both Barcelona and the footballing world have always made it a priority to play the Barça brand of football.

In today’s world of systematic perfection and inch-perfect details, the joys of football are often forgotten. However, that is why it is all the more special to come across footballers who value the quality of the game that is generated from their feet and their ability to make the world around them jump on their feet.

That is why the duo of Athletic Club winger Nico Williams and Barcelona gem Lamine Yamal is truly a special one to behold. The two Spanish youngsters have taken over the European Championship by storm and it is clear to see that the Barça winger continues to indicate his desire to play with his compatriot at club level.

As highlighted by SPORT, the duo continue to showcase their child-like antics both on and off the field. Whether it be the dances they do to celebrate together after scoring goals to commemorate their vibe and friendship, or even the simplest of goofing around away from regulation time, both players have clear synergy between them.

Their chemistry on the field is a thing of beauty in itself as well. Against Georgia, in the latest outing for Spain, the duo of the Athletic Club star and the Barcelona winger shared one goal and two assists between them in a 4-1 thumping of their opponents.

As Yamal continues to break records due to the quality he possesses at his young age, Nico Williams is there to act as a guiding figure for him. The Barcelona prodigy has already spoken in the past about his wish to see Williams dress up as a Blaugrana in the near future, and that wish has ample sporting evidence to back up its credibility.

The two youngsters work extremely well together, and their profiles are compatible as well. Similar to Barcelona, Spain likes to play a game that is based on possessional dominance and positional understanding. As a result of this, Yamal has been able to shine for both club and country, and Williams has also thrived with Spain for the exact same reason.

Now, it just remains to be seen if the future holds a chance for him to shine at Barcelona as well. However, signing him from Athletic Club will be far from an easy task. The €58 million release clause is still active, and it remains the only way that Barcelona president Joan Laporta can bring the 21-year-old winger over to Catalonia.
