Match Preview
Fc Barcelona will look to keep the ball rolling as they turn their sights to the Europa League, where they were held to a 1-1 draw by Frankfurt in the first leg last Thursday.
Frankfurt faced a home defeat against Freiburg ahead of their trip to Barcelona. On the contrary, Barca bounced back after going 1-0 down against Levante and managed to beat them 3-2 in a LaLiga thriller on the weekend, courtesy of Luuk de Jong’s injury-time winner.
Although Gerad Pique has trained with the squad, he was not having good sensations during the session. Pique and Dest have been included in the squad list but their participation in the match is doubtful.
Ronald Araujo is expected to start as a right-back and Clement Lenglet could pair up with Eric Garcia in the center of defense.
