Barcelona youngster and jewel of La Masia, Lamine Yamal, is a 15-year-old prodigy who currently stars for the Juvenil A side within the youth ranks of FC Barcelona.
A player of unquestionably prodigious talents, he remains a standout amongst peers of his who have already touched the years of 18 or even 19. Such are his talents, and thus consequently he has chosen to become aligned with one of the world’s biggest agents.
Portuguese super agent Jorge Mendes has been entrusted to take care of Lamine Yamal’s footballing future and the details that come alongside it as per the reports from RELEVO. Already an agent of some of the world’s biggest stars, he is also specifically looking after several players already within the grasp of FC Barcelona.
The likes of Ansu Fati, Alejandro Balde, Nico Gonzalez, Abde, and Inaki Pena, are all under the agency of Jorge Mendes, and now Lamine Yamal joins this rather renowned group of young stars.
Still, only 15, Lamine Yamal is yet to be eligible to sign a formal professional agreement with any club, but come July, and his age of 16, he would be free to sign with whomever he wishes to. Having already trained with the first team on several occasions, and reports alike suggesting how important he is to the future plans of FC Barcelona, the club will attempt to do everything within their grasp to ensure the young jewel remains a product and player of FC Barcelona for years to come.
Sought out by many clubs already that have become aware of the young La Masia product, the Blaugrana outfit will need to begin talks with Jorge Mendes promptly to finalize a suitable sporting and economical agreement over the youngster.
This would also be coupled with some other clients of the Portuguese agent such as Ansu Fati, Nico, and Abde, whose futures themselves are yet to be properly resolved for the long term.
