Overview:

The Garnet and Blue will return to action on Sunday night at Camp Nou against Unai Emery’s Yellow Submarine. The Catalan giants will be looking forward to finish their 2021-22 La Liga campaign on a high and will be playing only for pride after already securing the 2nd spot in the league table.

Barcelona have won 26 of their 52 games played this season. The one game remaining (vs Villarreal) will decide if Barca ends a season with a win percentage below 50% for the first time in 20 years!

On the other hand, Yellow Submarine will be fighting for a place in next season’s Uefa Conference League. After winning the Europa League last season, Unai Emery has led his side deep into Champions League knockouts.

Frenkie de Jong and Jordi Alba will be available for this match after serving a one-match suspension due to the accumulations of five yellow cards. Araujo has been training normally and is expected to participate in the match against Villarreal.

Fc Barcelona will come under heavy pressure against the balanced setup of Unai Emery’s Yellow Submarine. Expect goals on the night, but not a high-scoring affair. The lack of resources in defense could come back to bite Xavi’s side, but the quality in the attack should compensate for the weakness.
