Barcelona announce squad for the match against UD Almeria

Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernández has called up 20 players for FC Barcelona’s upcoming league match against UD Almeria. The Catalans will travel to Almería to face the Andulusian side on matchday 23 of La Liga campaign with the aim of collecting 3 points from this tricky away fixture.

Ansu Fati will not travel with the rest of the squad to face UD Almeria as he suffered a left knee contusion during yesterday’s training session. However, his injury is not serious and he is expected to be available for selection for the Copa Del Rey Semi Final against Real Madrid on Thursday, 2nd March 2023.

As per recent reports from Gerard Romero, Ronald Araujo is not training with the group and doing specific training alone as he is suffering from a cold. However, the Uruguayan defender will travel with the squad.
