Alonso on the match against Inter:

“A very important match, we will go out to achieve the 3 points. Inter Milan are a great team, they are physical and organized. I played here and I’m excited, it’s going to be a tough match, but we’re training well, and hopefully, we can get the three points.”

Alonso on Barcas chances of winning the Champions League:

“It’s too early to say whether we are favorites or not for the Champions League.”

Alonso on playing as a central defender:

“I have played as a central defender before, but my main desire is to play and wherever the coach sees me I will give my everything.”

Alonso on offers from Serie A clubs:

“I have previously played in the Serie A and this country gave me a great opportunity to develop, and playing for Barca is a very important opportunity. It is true that there were other offers from Italian teams, but I am very happy in Barça.”

Alonso on Barca being at the top of La Liga:

“Being at the top is important, but the most important thing is to stay there at the end of the season. We have to continue to work with desire and hope that the positive results will continue.”

Alonso on his playing time:

“I arrived recently for the team and every player wants to participate in every game, I am ready at the time the coach asks and with time we will see, I am very happy so far and with great desire.”
