At the beginning of this season, it looked increasingly likely that the Brazilian winger Raphinha would make the right wing his own and become an important player for Xavi at FC Barcelona.

Dembele’s departure last summer had left that position for Raphinha to claim, one year after he came to the club from Leeds United in exchange for €58 million. However, injuries and the rise of Lamine Yamal meant the Brazilian was unable to take advantage of this situation.

Still, his demand in the football market remains very high, and as Mundo Deportivo has reported, Barcelona are getting offers from two of the richest leagues in the world for the winger.

Raphinha already has experience of playing in the Premier League with Leeds United, and his demand in England remains quite high even two years after he had left the country.

Two big English clubs, Tottenham Hotspurs and Arsenal are both trying to sign the forward who is going to turn 28 years old in the coming December.

In addition to these advances from the English sides, some Saudi Arabian clubs are also pushing to get their hands on the Brazilian.

While these Saudi clubs may not be able to offer the sporting glory and spotlight that Premier League sides like Tottenham and Arsenal can offer, they still have the economic might to offer him wages even better than what he would earn in England.

As for FC Barcelona, Lamine Yamal has made one of the forward spots his own, while Robert Lewandowski is also a key starter for the club. Ferran Torres is another option for Xavi, while Vitor Roque will also start asking for more minutes as time passes by.

The Catalans also have to make sales to balance their books and get more players in the coming summer transfer window, and this interest in Raphinha would definitely not be something to be afraid of for Barcelona.
