In fact, Barcelona deciphers these sudden links as a strategic ploy from Paris-saint Germain, who intend to use Barcelona’s name to lodge pressure over Real Madrid, with whom the player has reportedly already agreed personal terms.
It would be a technique to put pressure on the Los Blancos to propose their best bid right away because Real Madrid are prepared to wait, and there was allegedly an agreement to sign Mbappe for free in 2024.
