FC Barcelona sent several players out on loan in the last summer transfer window, and a good number of these players left the club to get significant playing time at lesser competitive teams and thus continue with their growth and development.

However, not all these loans are going exactly as planned, and one of the players who has not been able to take advantage of a change of scenery is the youngster Pablo Torre.

FC Barcelona had convinced the 20-year-old midfielder to join Girona on loan, as it was one of the most exciting teams in La Liga, but he has not been able to feature prominently for Michel’s side.

Torre spent the last season without playing much at Barcelona, and thus, it is essential for him to gain significant time on the pitch to ensure the continuity of his growth. Barcelona fully trust the midfielder’s talent and potential but believes he currently needs a project where he can polish his skills and become a prominent player.

Thus, the Catalans are also willing to take up his full salary if the player can join a side where he gets a suitable environment for growth. According to SPORT, the Catalan club is even willing to make the footballer take a step back and join a team from the second division.

The report from SPORT further mentions that several second-division clubs are already interested in getting the promising youngster and are inquiring about a six-month loan. Racing Santander and Real Valladolid are particularly interested in him, while Real Zaragoza is also an option.

The player himself will have to decide if he wants to stay at Girona or join another club for the second half of this season. Playing as much as possible would be the best thing for his career at this point in time, so changing clubs in January cannot be ruled out.
