Barcelona have had to wait, but they are now quite close to opening 2024 with a game. Set to take on UD Las Palmas, Xavi’s men will be up against Garcia Pimienta’s formidable side. However, Barcelona will want to go in guns blazing as they look for all three points.

This opportunity for Barcelona to kickstart the new year with a victory is one they can not let go to waste. Xavi has insisted that his team is competing for titles, and he would expect such a performance of potential champions from his side.

Ahead of the game itself, Barcelona have released their official squad list for the match. With 21 players included, the number of included players is not anything out of order. However, there is a name present within the list that many had hoped to see there.

Vitor Roque, the latest Barcelona arrival, has been included in the squad list. However, his participation and follow up will depend as per his La Liga registration. Although, according to Xavi, that will not be a problem and is only a matter of time.

The injuries remain the same, with Pedri, Gavi, Ter Stegen, Inigo Martinez, and Marcos Alonso all sidelined. From the subsidiary, Hector Fort, Pau Cubarsi, and Diego Kochen are all included.
